Abbey Manor is promoting Seafire Park to a mix of trade counter, motor dealership, retail warehouse and mixed employment Development.
The site has outline planning consent for a mix of B1, B2 and B8 land uses. During extensive pre-application discussions with the local planning authority, South Somerset District Council, the principle of car dealership and trade counter uses on the site has been accepted.
A reserved matters planning application for a first phase of Development comprising car dealership showroom, trade counter and a retail warehouse use will be submitted shortly.
The indicative masterplan of Seafire Park has been prepared by Bristol based architects Stride Treglown. Key features are the use of a consistent palate of good quality building materials, feature estate signage, soft landscaping, a pedestrian and cycle route through the site linking Bunford Lane to Lynx Trading Estate, tarmac estate roads and block paved car parking zones.
